Soon after the launch of the Audi Q3 and Q3 Sportback Bold Edition, Audi India has launched the Q7 Bold Edition at a price of INR 97.84 lakh ex-showroom. The Bold Edition of the Q7 is based on its top-spec Technology variant and commands a premium of INR 3.39 lakh ex-showroom over the variant it is based on.
For the extra money, the Bold Edition elevates its exterior road presence thanks to the addition of the black styling package plus. The black styling package includes gloss black grille, black Audi rings in the front and rear, black window surrounds, black ORVMs and black roof rails. Furthermore, users get the choice to choose from a range of four exterior colour options — Glacier White, Mythos Black, Navarra Blue & Samurai Grey.
Coming to its interior, the Q7 Bold Edition does not carry any changes over the Technology trim. It offers a range of features including a panoramic sunroof, Audi Drive Select with 7 driving modes, powered front seats, freestanding Audi MMI system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, B&O premium sound system, four-zone climate control, touch-based control display for air conditioning, Audi Virtual Cockpit, ambient lighting and more.
Like the regular Audi Q7, the Q7 Bold Edition also carries the same V6 petrol engine. Its 3.0L turbocharged unit puts out 340PS of power and 500Nm of torque. It comes further assisted with a 48V mild-hybrid setup that aids in performance as well as fuel efficinecy. The engine channels power to all four wheels via an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The Q7 is capable of sprinting from standstill to 100kmph in 5.6 seconds and achieving a electronically-capped top speed of 250kmph.
