Ahead of the festive season, Audi India has launched the S5 Sportback Platinum Edition at INR 81.57 lakh (ex-showroom). The limited edition of the sports sedan is on sale with 2 colour options and enhanced sporty appeal.
Audi India offers the new S5 Sportback Platinum Edition in 2 colour options — District Green and Mythos Black. Further enhancing its sporty appeal, it offers a black styling package, red brake callipers, carbon inlays and scuff plates. The black styling package includes a gloss black radiator grille, black window surrounds, black side mirror and bumper inserts.
On the inside, its sporty seats come draped with Magma Red Nappa Leather upholstery and offer a massaging function. The regular S5 Sportback, on the other hand, comes with black leather seat upholstery. Its other interior highlights and features include carbon inlays, 3-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, a virtual cockpit, and metallic pedals.
Powering the S5 Sportback is a 3.0L turbocharged V6 petrol engine that pushes out 354PS of power and 500Nm of torque between 1370rpm and 4500rpm. Its engine channels power to all four wheels via the Quattro all-wheel-drive system, which also incorporates a centre differential. Transmission duties are taken by an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission, which the driver can row through via the steering-mounted paddles.
At INR 81.57 lakh, the Platinum Edition of the S5 Sportback carries a premium of INR 5.83 lakh over the standard S5 Sportback. Those who fancy more power can go for the RS5 Sportback, which retails at INR 1.13 crore (ex-showroom).
