Aston Martin is set to launch the 2025 edition of its DBX SUV, featuring a significant interior refresh alongside various subtle enhancements. Initially introduced to the brand’s lineup in 2020, the DBX has contributed significantly in expanding Aston Martin’s market appeal, particularly with its practical design.
In this latest iteration, Aston Martin has brought updates to the DBX’s interior aesthetics, drawing inspiration from the DB12 and Vantage. A notable feature is the horizontal design line that divides the dashboard, distinguishing the infotainment system from the instrument panel and centre console. Unlike many contemporary luxury vehicles, the DBX retains a considerable array of physical buttons and switches, offering direct control over functions such as the HVAC system, steering settings, suspension adjustments, and drive modes.
The cabin hosts a 12.3-inch digital instrument display behind the steering wheel, complemented by a centrally positioned 10.25-inch screen featuring Aston’s next-generation infotainment software, complete with wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
For the 2025 DBX707 variant, Aston Martin introduces three trim specifications: Inspire Sport, Inspire Comfort, and bespoke Q creations. Standard equipment includes a 14-speaker, 800-watt sound system, with an optional upgrade to a premium 23-speaker, 1,600-watt Bowers & Wilkins audio setup. Externally, while the overall design remains largely unchanged, discernible tweaks include new powered door handles that extend outward upon unlocking, along with updated side mirrors featuring flush glass.
Aston Martin expands the DBX’s colour palette with five additional shades: Epsilon Black, Helios Yellow, Sprint Green, Malachite Green, and Aura Green, alongside the inclusion of Podium Green, previously exclusive to the DBX707 ARM23 Edition.
Under the hood, the DBX707 continues to be propelled by Aston Martin’s twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 engine, delivering 707 PS of power and 900 Nm of torque. Power is transmitted via a nine-speed wet-clutch automatic gearbox to the all-wheel-drive system, capable of distributing 100 percent of torque to the rear wheels. The electronic dampers and air suspension receive recalibration aimed at enhancing handling dynamics.
Aston Martin anticipates commencing production of the new DBX707 in the second quarter of 2024, with deliveries scheduled for the third quarter. While pricing details are yet to be disclosed, considering the current starting price of USD 245,085 for the existing 707 model, it is anticipated that the updated version may exceed the USD 250,000 mark.
