While battery production will take place in California, the aircraft themselves will be manufactured in Covington, Georgia. Archer’s high-capacity eVTOL production facility is currently under construction. Initially, it will produce 650 aircraft units per year, with plans to scale up to over 2,000 units annually. Archer’s strategic partner and contract manufacturer, Stellantis, recently reaffirmed its commitment to the eVTOL maker with a substantial new investment.
