The unique selling point of neEV Tez is its 3-in-one charging.

New Delhi: Altigreen, a leading commercial electric vehicle manufacturer in India, unveiled its latest offering, the neEV Tez, during a grand launch event in New Delhi. The highlight of this three-wheeler is its 3-in-one charging feature, which provides users with flexible charging options catering to different needs.

A Game-Changer for Last-Mile Delivery

neEV Tez stands out with its rapid charging capabilities, a significant achievement powered by Exponent Energy. Altigreen’s commitment to innovative technology in electric mobility is evident in this vehicle’s design and features. The neEV Tez is specially designed to meet the demands of last-mile delivery and offers vehicle owners flexibility in charging.

Three Charging Options

The unique selling point of neEV Tez is its 3-in-one charging. It allows users to choose between three charging options:

  • 0-100% in just 15 minutes at Exponent’s e^pump rapid charging network.
  • Approximately 1 hour of charging at any Bharat DCOO1 charging station.
  • A mere 3.5 hours of charging using a standard 220V/16 A AC Socket.

Altigreen’s Vision

Contributing to a Greener India

In addition to the advanced technology, Altigreen’s neEV Tez is designed to contribute to a greener and cleaner India. As of now, Delhi has witnessed significant progress in L5 cargo electrification, with over 50% of vehicles adopting electric cargo solutions, compared to the national average of approximately 24%. The neEV Tez, with its innovative features, aims to strengthen Altigreen’s position in the large EV cargo market in India.

The availability of a vast network of DC charging in Delhi, along with the inclusion of a GB/T port option, enables easy charging using the DC network established by the Government of Delhi. This move aligns with the government’s efforts to promote sustainable transportation.

A Collaborative Effort with Magenta Mobility

The launch event also marked the delivery of 200 neEV Tez vehicles to Magenta Mobility, a fully integrated EV solutions company. This delivery is part of a 1000-vehicle Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between Altigreen and Magenta Mobility.

Magenta Mobility’s Founder & Managing Director, Maxson Lewis, expressed his pride in being at the forefront of India’s electric mobility revolution. The delivery of 200 neEV Tez vehicles signifies a significant step towards realizing their vision of a cleaner and more sustainable India. Industry-First Features

Altigreen’s neEV Tez offers several industry-first features, including a standard 5-year warranty and a battery with a 3000-cycle life warranty with 100% rapid charging. This impressive feature sets it apart from competitors in the market, where the average cycle life stands at approximately 1000 cycles. Users of neEV Tez will be able to complete two shifts with the same vehicle, enhancing productivity and earnings.

Solving Efficiency and Operational Issues

Arun Vinayak, CEO of Exponent Energy, expressed excitement about entering the Delhi-NCR region in partnership with Altigreen and Magenta Mobility. He emphasized the operational challenges faced by commercial EVs, including limited productivity and charging anxiety due to long charging times, unreliable networks, and long queues. With neEV Tez and the e^pump rapid charging network, these efficiency and operational issues are expected to be resolved, offering logistics operators more freedom and flexibility in their operations.

Encouraging Electrification

Rajiv Kumar, GM SIDBI, expressed the commitment of the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) towards electrification. SIDBI aims to make easy finance options available to support the electrification mission, ensuring that Altigreen and Magenta Mobility can fulfill their objectives in this regard.
