ACMA wraps up 8th Edition of iAutoConnect 2023

The two-day exhibition was held at the India International Convention and Exhibition Centre (IICC) Dwarka, New Delhi, on November 22-23.

The Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) concluded its eighth edition of ‘iAutoConnect,’ a reverse buyers and sellers meet that brought together over 140 suppliers and buyers from more than 150 countries.

The two-day exhibition, held at the India International Convention and Exhibition Centre (IICC) Dwarka, New Delhi, on November 22-23, provided a platform for global collaboration and knowledge-sharing in the automotive component industry. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Hanif Qureshi, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Heavy Industries, and attended by industry leaders like Sachin Kulkarni, Executive Director, Volkswagen Group, India, and Ramashankar Pandey, CEO, Tata Green Battery.

International participation

iAutoConnect drew notable international participation, with companies from various countries, including Taiwan, Brazil, Russia, Sweden, Ghana, Nigeria, Yemen, Bangladesh, Bhutan, and more. Representatives from Sweden’s Leax Group and Russian OEMs like AutoVAZ and KAMAZ contributed to the global exchange of ideas, showcasing the event’s diverse and international scope.

Industry insights

Shradha Suri Marwah, President, ACMA, highlighted the event’s significance in showcasing Indian auto component players during the transformative phase of the automotive industry. She emphasized the role of iAutoConnect in fostering international relationships and serving as a key platform for global collaboration within the dynamic automotive landscape.

Expressing satisfaction with the event’s success, Vinnie Mehta, Director General, ACMA, underlined the dynamic platform it provided to buyers and sellers worldwide. The 8th edition played a pivotal role in strengthening the foundation for Indian auto component manufacturers, advocating for global quality standards, fostering innovation, and promoting export collaboration.

The event featured the participation of more than 140 Indian auto-component manufacturers and over 150 international buyers from 45+ countries across regions, including LATAM, ASEAN, Middle East, Africa, SAARC, CIS, Europe, and beyond. This extensive participation showcased the industry’s global reach and facilitated meaningful connections.

The 8th edition of iAutoConnect 2023 served as a prime platform for industry leaders, manufacturers, and technology experts to explore the latest trends, technological advancements, and sustainable solutions driving the automotive component industry forward.
