The 5th edition of ACMA Automechanika 2024 kicked off on 1st February at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, marking a dynamic beginning with over 500 exhibitors from India and 12 other countries participating in the expo.

Recognized as India’s prominent aftermarket and auto components show, the event caters to professionals in the two-wheeler, passenger, commercial, and agricultural vehicle sectors. It serves as a central meeting ground for wholesalers, distributors, traders, professionals from car repair shops, garages, service stations, and fleet management, offering opportunities to explore new business prospects and procure genuine auto parts and components from global suppliers and manufacturers.
Knowledge sessions
Day 1 featured an insightful press meet with representatives from Messe Frankfurt GmbH, Germany, and Messe Frankfurt Middle East, organizers of Automechanika shows worldwide. The session provided updates on upcoming editions in international geographies. Day 2 promises an insightful knowledge session led by MotorIndia, a half-day conference on the aftermarket sector overview, and discussions on digitization and the implications of vehicle electrification in the aftermarket.
A platform for innovation and business
The three-day trade fair, concluding on February 3, 2024, positions ACMA Automechanika as a pivotal platform for exploring innovations, knowledge sharing, and fostering business deals within and after the expo. The event encapsulates 25,000 sqm and hosts participants from 12 countries, including Belgium, China, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Korea, Russia, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, USA, and UAE, in addition to India.

He highlighted the consistent growth of ACMA Automechanika since its launch in 2013, positioning it as one of the most influential events in India and globally.
Potential of the aftermarket space
Vinnie Mehta, Director General, ACMA, expressed excitement about hosting Automechanika 2024, underscoring the immense potential of the aftermarket space. He anticipates it to reach USD 14 billion by 2028 and views Automechanika as a platform for domestic component manufacturers to showcase their offerings on a global scale.
International pavilions and leading exhibitors
The event features four dedicated international pavilions for Germany, Korea, Taiwan, and Thailand, adding to the international diversity. Leading exhibitors such as Celette India, J K Fenner, Mahle Aftermarket, Schaeffler, Minda Corporation, ZF India, and others will showcase their products and solutions during the expo.
