Local Manufacturing and Expansion
Founded in 2019, ABZO Motors has invested significantly in the research and development of its debut product. The company operates a manufacturing plant along Kadi-Thol Road in Rangpurda, Ahmedabad, spanning 17,069 square meters. This facility houses assembly lines and testing infrastructure for dyno tests, enabling precise measurements of force, torque, and power output. Initially, the plant will have a production capacity of 9,000 units in the first year, with plans to expand to 15,000 units in the second year, 24,000 units in the third year, 40,000 units in the fourth year, and an impressive 60,000 units in the fifth year.
A Vision for the Future
Kanchi Patel, Co-founder of ABZO Motors, expressed her excitement about the launch, highlighting the significance of electric bikes in the future of the automobile industry. Gujarat, known for its growing electric vehicle manufacturing ecosystem, was a natural choice for the launch. ABZO Motors intends to introduce its e-bikes across India through a phased dealer network expansion. The company also aims to broaden its presence in Gujarat and diversify its product line, including the introduction of standard bikes.
