2024 Porsche Panamera interior revealed ahead of global debut

Driver-centred interior

The 2024 Porsche Panamera follows the interior layout of the new Cayenne and Taycan electric coupe. Since most of the interior controls are incorporated within the touchscreens, Porsche claims the relevant features for the driver have been incorporated within the steering wheel, which is quick to access.

The driver-centricity of the Panamera’s interior just doesn’t end there. The German carmaker has placed the toggle switch for the instrument cluster and the drive mode controller right on the steering wheel, easing the overall operation while on the go. Furthermore, the gear selector lever is placed next to the steering wheel, thus freeing up space for a new climate control console. The new climate control unit makes use of capacitive buttons and toggle switches, finding a balance between intuitive functionality and uncluttered design. Like the Taycan, the new Panamera also features an electronically adjustable central AC vent, which can be customised to different air flows with just one press of a button.

Screens Screens Everywhere

The highlight of the interior is three high-definition screens — an instrument cluster, an infotainment system and a passenger entertainment display. The instrument cluster of the new Panamera — like the Taycan — is curved and cuts down the effect of reflections.

The 12.3-inch infotainment system is the same that we have seen in other Porsche models and is likely to offer wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The optional passenger entertainment display measures 10.9-inch in size and thanks to a polarised film, can not be seen from the driver’s seat. The screen can be used to set a lap timer and also stream websites like YouTube and TikTok!

More comfortable seating for all passengers

With the 3rd-gen model, Porsche has put emphasis on seating comfort as much as sporty dynamics. Porsche has used improved seat form material, which increases comfort as well as elasticity. Buyers seeking more comfort for the rear seats can go for the Executive models, which offer a newly contoured rear seat system with an optimised seating position. The optimised seating position promises to deliver even more comfort on long drives in the back. Additionally, Porsche has also used fine materials and a wide selection of bi-colour designs. For the first time, Porsche is also offering a leather-free interior option and continuous interior ambient lighting in the Panamera.
