The 2024 Porsche Cayenne facelift debuted in April 2023. A highly digitalised cockpit, new chassis technology, and the innovation of high-tech features comprise the key highlights.
In Europe, the Cayenne comes with three different engine versions. The Cayenne S brings back the four-litre biturbo V8 instead of the V6. It develops 468bhp and 600Nm. The entry into the world of the Cayenne comes with an optimised three-litre V6 turbo engine.
Three-dimensionally designed tail lights, uncluttered surfaces beneath and a new rear apron with an integrated number plate holder characterise the rear-end design of the new Cayenne.
Porsche has also introduced an air quality monitoring system in the 2024 Cayenne. Optionally, a sensor detects the level of fine dust particles in the air and passes it through the fine dust filter multiple times if necessary.
Porsche now equips the Cayenne with a steel spring suspension including Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). The suspension also offers an even sharper differentiation between Normal, Sport and Sport Plus driving modes.
A new front end combined with more strongly arched wings, a new bonnet and quad-beam headlights emphasise the vehicle’s width.
Matrix LED Headlights are now standard in the new Cayenne. With two high-definition modules and more than 32,000 pixels per headlamp, the technology picks out other users and blocks out the light of the high beam to them with pixel accuracy so as not to dazzle them.
The Cayenne E-Hybrid also uses the V6 in combination with a new 130kW electric motor. The combined powertrain output has increased to 464bhp. Equipped with a 25.9kWh battery, it offers an electric-only driving range of up to 90km.
For the first time, the redesigned cockpit of the Cayenne includes a free-standing 12.6-inch instrument cluster. The standard 12.3-inch central infotainment display integrates into the new dashboard. A 10.9-inch display is now available for the first time for the passenger side.
The automatic transmission selector lever in the new Cayenne is now on the dashboard.
