The collaborative endeavor aims to revolutionize e-mobility by designing and creating forward-thinking power electronics solutions, including onboard chargers, inverters, and BLDC controllers. ANHS will employ skilled professionals, leveraging expertise in hardware, software, mechanics, and supply chain management. The center will incorporate advanced tools to drive innovation in products that cater to various EV applications, from two- and three-wheelers to four-wheelers.
Headspring, a Japanese sustainable energy solutions provider with expertise in cutting-edge semiconductor materials, complements Anevolve’s ambitions. ANHS’s roadmap includes a diverse lineup of chargers tailored for two- and three-wheelers, ranging from 250W to 3kW. These chargers are designed to deliver seamless and efficient charging experiences for different electric vehicle models.
ANHS also emphasizes infrastructure development, targeting urban and public settings. It is working on AC chargers with capacities of 7kW, 11kW, and 22kW, significantly enhancing EV charging accessibility in India’s evolving landscape.
Sunil Kaul, Managing Director of Anevolve and CTO of Anand Group, highlighted the center’s commitment to sustainable transportation and its role in supporting India’s EV transition. ANHS is on a mission to pioneer high-capacity DC fast chargers with a powerful 60kW capacity, thereby reducing charging times and catalyzing widespread EV adoption.
Anevolve anticipates robust demand for EV chargers in India, driven by governmental incentives, policy support, and infrastructure growth. The company envisions ANHS as a trailblazer in the realm of DC fast chargers for Indian EVs, contributing to the nation’s ambitious EV goals.
The launch of Anevolve earlier this year marked Anand Group’s strategic move towards greener products and systems. With plans to invest approximately Rs 1,000 crore in Anevolve, the group envisions an innovation hub, a design center (ANHS), and manufacturing facilities across India. The company aims to achieve revenues of Rs 3,500 crore by FY2028, creating employment opportunities for around 2,500 associates.
The Anevolve-Headspring partnership embodies a vision for sustainable and efficient mobility solutions that will play a vital role in shaping India’s electric vehicle ecosystem.
