Lexus India has reported significant sales growth this festive season, with October 2024 showing a robust 43% increase compared to the same month last year. Driven by strong customer demand for its luxury lineup and active engagement efforts, Lexus has also achieved a 14% year-to-date growth as of October 2024 compared to the same period in 2023.
The Lexus ES continues to dominate sales, accounting for 58% of the company’s total sales in October 2024. The model’s luxurious design, meticulous craftsmanship, and appeal as a “Made in India” product resonate strongly with Indian customers. Additionally, Lexus has seen an impressive 46% growth in its SUV lineup in October, with models like the RX and NX gaining momentum. This uptick highlights Lexus India’s commitment to versatile, premium mobility options that cater to the lifestyle needs of its evolving customer base.
Tanmay Bhattacharya, Executive Vice President of Lexus India, acknowledged the growth as a testament to the trust customers place in Lexus. “We are deeply grateful to our guests for their support this festive season. This growth underscores the Lexus brand’s dedication to high-quality products and memorable experiences,” he said, adding thanks to dealer partners who helped bring Lexus values to their customers. Bhattacharya highlighted Lexus’ guest-centric approach, particularly through engaging events like the Lexus Golf Challenge, which strengthens the brand’s connection with customers through curated experiences.
Since its debut in India in 2017, Lexus has championed the Japanese hospitality philosophy of Omotenashi, ensuring each initiative reflects care and respect for its customers. Lexus India’s commitment to customer satisfaction is further reflected in its recent industry-first 8-year/160,000 km vehicle warranty on all new models sold from June 2024, as well as a 5-year Roadside Assistance (RSA) program introduced in February 2024. Additionally, Lexus introduced premium factory body coating in August, adding a luxurious, durable finish to its vehicles.
To deepen customer engagement, Lexus has hosted golf events and clinics across cities like Bangalore, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, and Mumbai, allowing guests to experience golf under expert guidance. These initiatives underscore Lexus India’s dedication to creating memorable, value-driven experiences that enhance the ownership journey.
