Kia unveiled the all-new fourth-generation K4 compact four-door sedan ahead of its global debut at the 2024 New York International Auto Show.
With an overall length of 4,709mm and width of 1,849mm, Kia claims the K4 is the widest, and has the largest footprint in its segment, and rear passengers get class-leading 965mm legroom and 947mm headroom.
The vertically-oriented LED headlights and taillights take inspiration from the flagship EV9 and create pronounced edges through the lighting signature at the front and rear.
The centrepiece of the wide cockpit is the standard, integrated instrumentation with nearly 30 inches of digital real estate.
The hidden rear door handles in the C-pillar emphasise the K4’s fastback proportions and draw attention to its swept-back daylight opening. A conventional trunk affords 413 litres of cargo capacity.
The 2025 Kia K4 will be available with up to 29 ADAS features, including a Blind-Spot View Monitor, 360° Surround View Monitor, and segment-first emergency evasive steering assist.
Unique front and rear fasciae with gloss black accents, a satin chrome beltline, 18-inch alloy wheels, and gloss black mirror caps, window trim, and side sill distinguish the K4 GT-Line variants.
The front-wheel-drive K4 will offer two powertrain choices: the standard 2.0-litre engine with 147HP & 179Nm of torque paired with an intelligent variable transmission (IVT) and an optional 1.6-litre, turbocharged petrol engine with 190HP and 264Nm of torque with an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
