The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 received its last major update in India in March 2023, with the addition of features like an LED headlight, new switchgear, and alloy wheels.
The Interceptor 650 borrows the LED headlight and aluminium switchgear from the Meteor 350. It also has a USB charging port on the left handlebar.
The bike continues with the 648cc in-line twin-cylinder engine with a six-speed gearbox. It develops 46.8bhp and 52.3Nm of torque.
The updated Interceptor 650 also gets a new all-black design theme as well, featuring a blacked-out engine, exhaust pipes and wheels.
The 2023 version was launched with prices starting at INR 0.303 million and going up to INR 0.331 million (ex-showroom figures).
Its chassis consists of a double cradle steel tubular frame, with telescopic forks and twin gas-charged shock absorbers (with adjustable preload) at the rear.
Alloy wheels are available only with two of the seven colour options (Barcelona Blue and Black Ray), and cannot be equipped with any of the other colours. The bike continues with Ceat tyres.
