The second-generation BMW X2 made its global debut in October 2023. BMW calls it a Sports Activity Coupé (SAC).
The rear is characterised by flared wheel arches, muscular shoulders, horizontal contours of the rear light design, a Gurney-style spoiler, and a dominant apron.
Interior highlights include a slender instrument panel that houses the BMW Curved Display and a ‘floating’ armrest.
The new generation is 194mm longer, 21mm wider, and 64mm taller than its predecessor. Increased wheelbase and wider tracks enable more cabin space.
The new X2’s luggage capacity ranges from 560-1,470 litres, depending on the model variant.
Newly-developed seats are offered in the Veganza perforated variant and Vernasca leather.
The worldwide market launch is expected to happen in March 2024, along with the all-electric version, BMW iX2 xDrive30.
M-specific design features such as the two pairs of exhaust tailpipes integrated into the rear apron give the X2 M35i xDrive a dynamic look.
Defining design elements at the front include new LED headlights and an almost hexagonal BMW kidney grille, which can be specified with the optional BMW Iconic Glow contour lighting.
