Royal Enfield has finally launched the much-awaited all-new Himalayan at its biking festival, Motoverse. The adventure tourer was unveiled to the world at EICMA 2023 in Milan earlier this month.
It is now available for bookings in India at a special introductory price of INR 269,000 until December 31, 2023.
Starting March 2024, the motorcycle will also be available across Europe at a starting price of GBP 5,750 in the UK and EUR 5,900 in other European countries.
The highlight of the 2024 Royal Enfield Himalayan is that it gets the brand’s first liquid-cooled 452cc Sherpa engine, making 40bhp and 40Nm of torque.
The motorcycle features a new steel twin-spar frame and uses the Sherpa 450 engine as a stressed member. The tyres are brand new, and the rear wheel is now a radial unit.
The new model comes with 21-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels, just like the outgoing version.
The 2024 Royal Enfield Himalayan is offered in three unique variants: Base, Pass, and Summit, and is available in five different colours.
